English for Pasta

I volunteered in a program called English for Pasta while studying abroad in Florence, Italy. This program pairs college students with Italian families who hope to increase their knowledge of the english language. My friend and I were paired up with a family three children ages 3 - 10. I played games, had conversations and helped them with homework to work to improve their English skills while also improving my Italian. It was amazing to see how much their vocabulary grew through the semester.
